Life Viewed Through an Amber Focus

I don't know if many people are still on LJ, but if anyone is still around, I have this quote from some show or movie, I'm not sure which that has been driving me crazy trying to remember. It's something along the lines of the guy saying he's going to get out of the girl's way and the girl saying something like "What if I'm okay with having you in my way?" or "What if I like having you in my way?" or "I've kind of gotten used to you being in my way."

Does anyone have any clue what this is from? And what the exact quote is?

More to the point, I had a quick scan of the f-list this morning, but couldn't really look at anything because of my son. I could have sworn there was something there specifically for me this morning, but I see no sign of it tonight. I've gone back a couple of days. Um...anyone know what I'm talking about? Or has my imagination finally ran away with me?

...and I haven't the faintest clue. I do not want to buy him a bunch of ebooks, but I know there are supposed to be a bunch of good, free books out there in the public domain. So how do I find them and then how do I get them on the Kindle? Talk slow and use little words please.

...with the demise of MU, I need to find a new filehosting website to put my story .pdf's on. What have you all had the best luck with? I'd prefer something free or for a nominal fee as I don't want to shell out too much money and then have the site go belly up.

I'm thinking about getting a Hulu Plus account. Does anyone have one? Do you still have to watch the dumb commercials if you have the paid account? Also, can more than one computer be signed in at the same time with one membership like at Netflix, where we could be streaming different things on every computer in the house if we wanted to? Or can only one computer be logged in at a time? You know how www.fox.com and www.cwtv.com make you wait eight days to watch a show free on their website? If you have the plus account do you still have to wait the eight days? Or is it next day like the more reasonable network shows? I really, really hate the idea of waiting 8 days to watch Fringe, Terra Nova, The Vampire Diaries, and The Secret Circle. Not enough to shell out the over $100 bucks a month to our county's monopolistic cable company or anything, but still.

Does anyone have a list of the sites that are going dark tomorrow to protest SOPA?

About all I know for sure is wiki and lolcats are and that Google, Facebook, and youtube are not.

alizarin_skies  was asking about Tenth Doctor werewolf stories over at dw_ficsearch that go with jesidres  art.  I could direct her to the one's by her and Fuzzy Wuzzy by amberwind  but there is also one I read a long time ago where the Doctor was bit during Tooth and Claw and he and Rose would go out in the woods and he would play hunt her, chasing her through the forest and eventually catching her.  Does anyone know the fic I'm talking about?  Because it's driving me crazy not remembering where to find it.  And also any other good Tenth Doctor werewolf stories?

How do I make a post stick to the top of my LJ?  I'm working on getting my Master Fic List together and would like it to stay at the top.  I'm sure it's ridiculously easy, but I'm ridiculously untechnical.
