Based on British naming conventions, it's highly likely. The school will have been named either after its parent village or Mr Farringham, who founded it, and that's a pretty uncommon name.
I guess it depends what you consider canon as to whether you name the village or not, but even if you take account of things like the DW Encyclopaedia, and the original story the eps were based on, there's still contradiction between the two sources.
In the eps themselves it's definitely only ever referred to as "the village", even on the poster for the dance, it simply mentions the village hall etc.
Personally, I'd stick with simply calling it the village, it's the safest option
