Not Down the Rabbit Hole. Just On the Edge
I mentioned in my last post that I have been enjoying solo work by RM (his full Korean name is Kim Nam-Joon) leader of the Korean pop group BTS (yes, I still refuse to call male or female KPop idols boy or girl bands. Hell, RM is 30, FFS.) I'm really happy with RM's EP called "Mono," which was released in 2018, when he was 24. It's intensely personal, done in a mix of Korean and English. (Some songs use more English than others.) The tracks are generally lo-fi, and I find them both soothing and interesting.
This track, "Tokyo," starts the album, and it hits all my positive buttons. Another song, "Seoul," is a favorite of mine, but this one is fast becoming the favorite.
I hope you enjoy it.
