Life Viewed Through an Amber Focus

With the kidlets being sick today and in bed sleeping, I had a lot of free time on my hands. I've been doing a Supernatural rewatch on Netflix streaming. It was the episode that had Jewel Staite from Firefly on it and her character's name is Amy Pond, proving yet again that everything goes back to Doctor Who.

I've also been watching (for the first time) the modern 90210 (shut up) and I'm somewhere in season 3. The girls just went on a yoga retreat run by Claudia Black who played Vala on Stargate SG-1 and Aeryn Sun on Farscape. Her Farscape co-star was Ben Browder who played the sheriff in the Doctor Who episode A Town Called Mercy, Q.E.D.

It's been a rough week and this made me smile. I know others are having a rough week so maybe it'll make you smile, too.

And to make it Doctor Who related, Kilroy Was Here was written on an elevator shaft that Two and Jamie were climbing up in episode 3 of The Invasion and in the first episode of Warrior's Gate.  (Yes, she has mad wiki skills).

You know that Doctor Who might play a somewhat larger than is normal role in your life when you sign on to an unrelated website and the security code that you have to copy into the little box says DWs4 and you immediately think Doctor Who season 4.  *shakes head at self*
