So when we got the new car a couple of years ago, we got a personalized license plate.  It says TARDISY, because the car is small, blue, and seems bigger on the inside than the outside.  Plus TARDIS was taken.  Anywho, today when we came out of Best Buy (bought season 5 of DW finally!) this was on our windshield.  Ignore the mispelling.

I've seen one in my area that says TARDIS1 and I've seen one in the mountains that says Dalek. Is it wrong to want to steal so many totally ugly cars just to have their license plates?

This is FAB! I have one of the spinning TARDIS phone fobs on my phone (though the batteries are dead... twitter killed 'em in about 3 days and I wasn't going to spend that kind of money to keep it running, it serves mostly as something to grip so I don't drop it) and I get people looking surreptitiously at the phone til they can't stand it anymore and they ask either "what's on your phone?" or "is that a TARDIS?" I just LOVE it :)

I love your license plate. Sadly that isn't possible in most of Europe, and especially not in Germany, but I'm thinking about buying a TARDIS (yep, they're called that) glass shower stall for my bathroom when I finally get to renovating it. And the brochure actually says 'dimensions in space' ;)
