You know that Doctor Who might play a somewhat larger than is normal role in your life when you sign on to an unrelated website and the security code that you have to copy into the little box says DWs4 and you immediately think Doctor Who season 4.  *shakes head at self*

I would have thought exactly the same thing. :)

I once had to copy the code doctor pond into one of those little security boxes. And the site was nothing to do with DW. Made me smile.

*pokes LJ* I just answered you and my response rather exploded once I hit post! o_O Anyway, I said that I read that exactly the same way, just in case it doesn't come flying in in a bit. ;)

That's not silly at all. Perfectly sane in my book.

The most recent book by Robin McKinley has a high ranking mage named something similar to Rassalon, and I giggle every time I see it.

There is also the problem I keep having with some of the authors in my various classes. Last semester there was an author with the last name Harkness that kept being used for class presentations, "Harkness says this" and "Harkess says that"

Now in another class, I have an author to read with the name Scarrow which my professor pronounces like "Skaro"

HA! I definitely would've thought the same thing.

Last week a colleague was telling me about going wedding dress shopping with her daughter, who's getting married. She was telling me about the 3 dresses they've narrowed it down to, and they're calling one of them "the pocket dress," because it has pockets. A wedding dress with pockets.

DW references are everywhere.

I would have done the same. It's impossible for me to get through a day without doctor who related events lol whether it be letters on a license plate or something someone says. It's gonna happen.

Don't you just love when something like that happens? I was sitting in an English class once and the professor was talking about Homer and Aristotle and the fellow Who fan next to me passed me a note that had one of(I'm pretty sure)Four's derisive quotes about those famous thinkers on it. I almost started giggling right there in the classroom :D
