DW and Torchwood Action Figures

Some of my Christmas prezzies:





I wish Tosh looked a little more like Tosh. My Gwen action figure totally looks like Gwen and Rose like Rose, but Tosh, not so much. Still I am very pleased to have her. Now she can go on adventures with Nine and Rose. *grins* I finally found an Eleven that I like. With Stetson. I can't tolerate Eleven in Ten's clothes or in the fez and the regular Eleven either came with the one in Ten's clothes or the police woman Amy or the TARDIS and I didn't want to get those since I already have a TARDIS and totally don't need her strippergram *ahem* I mean kissogram outfit. I wanted Amy in regular clothes. It's definitely cute, but it doesn't hold a candle to Karen Gillan's beauty. I am still annoyed that they have no Rory doll. They do have a Roman Auton, why could't it have been Rory? I still need Ianto. They never made Owen. *grumble grumble*

The Doctor has no suspenders on under his jacket. I call cheating.

Every time I see the Stetson Eleven (Tesellecta Eleven?) action figure I just think of this:



I have heard they're finally making a Rory doll? When I was over in London looking at the abundance of dumb Doctor Who merch it just killed me that there was no Rory anything, lol. I MEAN, they have like.. Random Roman Auton and Random Centurion and "Destroyed Cassandra", but no Rory? lolllllllll

Oh, dear, that made me snort my water out my nose! My husband thought I was choking, not laughing. *grins* Yeah, I don't get it. We need a Rory more than we need all this random stuff. Rory is what has made Doctor Who watchable this last year and should be given his due. (And I'd much rather have Owen than a Weevil or that fish head dude; he is the only original cast member not available). Sometimes I think the people in charge of merchandizing are totally not tuned in to fandom.

Wow, Tosh is only vaguely Tosh!like and that's being a bit generous to say "vaguely," methinks. :S So strange how some figures look pretty accurate and others look like the person(s) in charge of sculpting them only had a basic description and no picture to go by, isn't it? :S

But still, it's Tosh!like, which is better than no Tosh at all (aka Owen :S -- seriously, why wouldn't they make an Owen?). Rory should be in one of the upcoming waves so *fingers crossed* for that. ;)

Anyway, congrats on getting them all! :D *hugs* ♥

Tosh reminds me more of Martha than Tosh. I think it's the jacket.

Wow, if you hadn't said it was Tosh, I'm not sure I would have known it was her at all.
