Sometimes you just stumble on something that screams the Doctor and Rose. These lines in an autobiography I was reading did this for me.

I'd love to see what someone might make of it as a prompt. My brain is too tired to even try. It might be the 102 degree fever. I think it is probably more Nine/Rose than Ten/Rose or Ten2/Rose, but I'm not that picky.

Things are coming out in fits and starts and then I'm looking at it and going, NO. Usually when that happens to me, the best thing to do to get the juices flowing right again is to write drabbles.

So...Doctor Who fandom only, Doctor/Rose only, Jack may cameo. I will not write Eleven (I'm mad at him right now).

Leave me a pairing and a ONE WORD prompt only. Yes, I will make fun of your ability to understand the word "one" if you leave me a two word prompt (but I will still likely write it). First ten prompts will get a drabble. Most of them will be smutty because that is what I am trying to write. I may or may not decide to do more than ten, but no guarrantees past the first ten.

...or maybe a few. I feel like my brain is dry and empty and I need something to kickstart me into writing again. I figure if I can get a oneshot out, I might be able to finish something else that sorely needs finishing, but I am totally drawing a blank. And because I have not written smut in...well, whenever it was I wrote the last chapter of Leap of Faith...I feel like that might help the situation a bit.

Any takers?

I've just gotten ch. 16 of Leap of Faith back from one of my betas and the other one should have it back shortly after some ridiculous hour in the early a.m. that she considers the appropriate time to wake up and I still consider the middle of the night (love you, V).  So barring any major rewrites I shall be posting it tomorrow at a more reasonable hour of the day.

Wrote another paragraph on crimedoc1's birthday fic and then deleted about five paragraphs that were not working.  I don't technically think that's considered progress.  I'm about to flush it and start over from scratch.  Anyone want to send me some specific to Ten2/Rose prompts.  Smutty prompts preferrably, but will accept all comers at this point.

The plotting part of my brain has gone completely dead. I mean completely. Anyone out there got some spare plots they care to part with? Something you've wanted to see me write that I haven't. (Not Tencest or OT3, please). I have a ficathon fic (Nine/Rose) I need to write and also the last birthday fic I intend to write for a very long time that still needs to be written. B'day fic ideas can be Nine, Ten, or Ten2. I usually have about 20 different ideas roaring around in my brain jostling for attention, but now...nothing.

I think I may be finished with the next chapter of HM on Sunday. I hope so. It seems *crosses fingers* to be going well.

Oh, and I see the surgeon on the 18th. I don't think I updated about that. We'll likely set the surgery date then. I really want to get it done this year. I'd like a functional knee by next spring.

Also, it's too early for snow. Do Not Want. I cannot wait to move to sea level.

I need euphemisms for sex for a story I'm working on.  I've got several but I'm hoping to find a few that are not quite so raunchy as those listed online.  And also, is it horizontal tango or horizontal mambo?

Also, I need prompt ideas for Nine and Rose.  They do not have to be (but certainly can be) smutty.  Preferrably no angst or hurt comfort. (unless you just can't resist and I'll save it for later).  More light and silly and goofy and fun with innuendo and UST.

My mind is drawing a blank on the next chapter of Zeppelins.  Well, not so much of a blank as an "I do not want to write this chapter right now because I know how it ends," sort of thing going on.  In any case, anyone got some prompts for me?  I'm thinking something in the realm of PG/PG-13 fluffy stuff.  Though I won't turn down a smut prompt or two.  No OT3 or Tencest though.  But any variation of Nine/Rose, Ten/Rose, or Ten2/Rose.

I am desperately in need of some smut prompts.  My smut-o-meter seems to have broken in half during the week of writing angst.  Anyone got some ideas to spare?  First lines, general ideas, I don't care, something.  Nine, Ten, or Ten2, all are fine.  Oh, and by the way, it can be a smut prompt for any of the ongoing stories that are rated R or above, too.  Jonathon/Rose and alt!Nine/Rose particularly since they are both due up for some very soon.  Positions, scenarios, situations, locations.  Anything that'll get the creative juices going again.  Thanks!
