Well, I seem to be over my block on Zeppelins.  At least words are flowing again, and I've got a weekend ahead of me so we might actually see a chapter within the next 72 hours.  Wouldn't that be lovely?  I hate when I bang my head against the wall for days when the plot is being difficult.  Of course I have the cold from Hades.  Hopefully it will not interfere too much.  I hate summer colds.  Yes, I know it's spring in my part of the world but the temps around here have been in the 80's and one day in the 90's so I'm officially declaring it a summer cold.

I was just emailed that Moments in Darkness got nommed in the series category of the CoT Awards and A Dangerous Creature? Not So Much got nommed in the Humour category.  *is excited*

...and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who voted for me in the Children of Time Awards Round 2.

I am deeply honored that so many people like my stories and my writing.

Hey, everyone. We dragged ourselves in slightly after midnight last night, but we are all home safe and sound. First order of business this morning was to send off my last of five reviews to azriona that I wrote on the plane. I meant to do it last night but pretty much just fell into bed and zonked immediately.

Suze made me a lovely new banner for my LJ of Zeppelins' Jonathon and Rose but I've no clue on how to put it in there. Is there someone who could tell me how to code it? This is what it looks like:

I just went over to the Children of Time Awards website and submitted my votes for New Who and the art categories for the Second Round.  I wish I'd had time to read some Torchwood stuff, but I haven't done.  There are a lot of tough choices, but I've read an awful lot more of them this time around.  The voting form can be found here:  http://childrenoftime.creative-musings.com/awards/vote.htm  Voting is open until the 5th, but I wanted to make sure I did it before I left for vacation this weekend.  I forgot last time around.

Well, I just finished up A Question of Innocence.  The previous working title was Innocent As Sin but it evolved a bit differently.  That, my dear Ramblinsuze, is your b'day ficcie.  So no seeing it until the 23rd.  I think I may manage to finish up both Take Me Swimming and Inappropriate Use of Jam today, too.  Also b'day ficcies for Wiggiemomsi and Ladychi.  At least I hope so.  February is a very crowded month.  And then Jessa's fic on the 25th.  Gotta get that one written before I leave for Disney, but I'll have my laptop and wifi at the condo down there so I can post it on the day.  The park is only open from 10 to 8 during the week so I may get a bit of writing done down there.  I know I will write on the plane.  I always do.

I'm almost done with my reread of Domesticity and Distraction and I need to reread Glimpsing the Past, write those reviews and get them in.  I'm hoping to do that tomorrow or Thursday.

I had three dreams last night that I remember. Two were Rose/Jonathon dreams, one of which will make it into a future chapter of A Sky Without Zeppelins (plotty, not smutty) and one of which will be better slotted into A Sky Without Stars (really, really plotty with a smidgeon of creative smut).

The third dream was about David Tennant. He had announced that he wasn't going to quit Doctor Who after all, that after filming the specials (which I realize he is still in the middle of) he simply couldn't bear to leave the show and had signed on for three more years. With a sizable bribe Matt Smith was given the option of either stepping down for those three years and taking over the roll in 2013 when he was a bit older and more seasoned, or a guaranteed contract as one of the Doctor's companions for the next three years. He chose companion.

And also, Stephen Moffat had been offered control over a show in America (so he's not even in the same country as DW)  that was going to pay him five times what he could make on Who and so Russel T. Davis was back in charge and had a clause in his contract saying no serious angsting was allowed for the first two of those three years. And there would be a giant crossover to the parallel world in a massive three parter that occured so we got to see Rose and Ten2 living happily ever after.

Why, yes, I do rearrange things to my liking in my sleep. Why do you ask? *grins*

I finally finished reading Disheveled. My brain feels entirely too full, but it was so worth it. I'm going to let it sit in there for a day or so before I write anymore of the review. I did find my opening paragraph though and I think I know more or less what I'm going to say for the rest of it, it's just a matter of wording it. I should be finishing up the one on Used to Be Brilliant today. That is such a good fix-it fic. Gives me Donna squees.

I think I will finish up the next chapter of Zeppelins some time today. It's at 3000 words and will likely finish around 3500 to 4000, depending on how long they choose to drag out the lovemaking. The whole chapter is smut. Well, I say whole chapter. They do actually talk a little bit between rounds. So most of the chapter.
