Tobias is officially finished with homeschool until fall.  I really enjoyed (at least when I wasn't stressing out) this first year with Washington Virtual Academy.  I think it's got a very good, very solid program, though I often felt like we were teaching a year ahead of grade level, but oh, well.  Rose still has quite a ways to go, but should be able to finish up by July 25th if she doesn't goof off too much.  Here's hoping.

Tobias is currently at dress rehearsal for his recital.  My mother took him because she isn't going to any of the recitals.  With them not performing on the same night this year it would have meant buying two tickets and she didn't want to have to do that plus find a sitter for Dad two days running.  So she's been on rehearsal duty while we watch Dad.  It works.  Rose's recital is tonight.  Tobias has his tomorrow, both at a matinee and an evening performance.  As it is, we had to shell out $100 almost for seven recital tickets.  Only Chris is going to T's second performance.  One parent has to go and he didn't want to help out in the parent room to get in free so he'll watch.  It'll do him good. *smirks*  He gets out of--ahem, I mean misses out on--so many of their activities anyway with being in Alaska so much of the time.

Yesterday while I was babysitting Dad, I managed to write 1400 words on Zeppelins, then got in a further 300 last night so I'd say the stubborness my Donna muse was giving me is a thing of the past, although she's still not entirely happy with me.  I still probably won't be finished with it until Sunday, though so don't break your refreshing fingers or anything.  If I get it done early I'll let you all know and then you can break them. *grins*
