KSN is fortunately only of the allergy kind, not the sick "oh my gosh, oh my gosh, kill me know" kind, but seriously what should I be reacting to in January? Nothing. What am I reacting to? Those freaking little orange flowers that finally, finally got killed off in our 30 degree frost last night. What do I still have growing in the garden that did not get killed off?

Broccoli, regular, heriloom Romanescu, and sprouting. I swear this is the most bizarre winter on record. Or else these are some really freak varieties of broccoli I planted last June.

Finished knitting T's scarf.

Not perfect, but almost.

Also I made cinnamon ice cream in my new hard ice cream maker. I only took a taste because, well, possible diabetes, but it was so good. And the kids are happy little campers.

Also, I have been thinking about doing a Doctor/Rose Romance-a-thon ficathon over at [livejournal.com profile] sistersofguh for Valentine's Day. Any interest? The comm has been more or less dormant since BWR took up the fandom slack, but I kind of feel like hosting one as I seem to be coming out of my self-imposed moratorium (i.e. crippling writer's block) on writing fanfic. I need to decide that this week.

I'd be interested in a ficathon.

Seems yesterday was the finish-your-scarf day. I finished the one I started in summer. Now I need buttons (it's a cowl).

I have a suspicion that BWR will one day evolve into Skynet... only a whole lot sexier (and with naked Tennant!butlers)

Also, any excuse for more Doctor/Rose ficathons is good in my eyes XD

The yellow scarf you made looks so soft and fluffy! Well done!

Hopefully, you're not diabetic. Have you had your A1C test? However, if you are diabetic, it isn't the end of the world! I recently moved into the controlled category and will soon be off the daily insulin shots and able to control my diabetes through diet alone. If you wish to discuss diabetes further, feel free to email me. :) Good luck!

Also, I think a ficathon would be awesome! I've nothing substantial to contribute beyond some encouraging words and R&R. I feel it is my duty to R&R D/R pron. Ha!

*huggles* Hoping for positive outcomes for you.

Me, too, on the writer's block I mean. So I'd love to at least make the attempt. Thanks!!

I think a Valentine ficathon is a great idea love, and BWR definitely wont be doing one, so you're more than welcome to promote it over there too, in fact we'll help you promote it if you like? :)

T's scarf is lovely. I am sure the cinnamon ice-cream was yummy!

I am ready to support your SoG ficathon by reading and reviewing, just like [livejournal.com profile] nonlinearmusing! It is such a tough job but someone has to do it.

Congratulations on coming out of your writer's block at least. And I like the shade of yellow you picked, very cheerful and uplifting. That is the scarf of an optimist
