You can learn a lot about someone by the music they listen to. Hit shuffle on your iPod or mp3 player and write down the first 20 songs. No cheating or skipping songs that are shameful. That is the fun! And frankly, a little scary...

02. Flying Machine--Everly
03. Need You Now--Lady Antebellum
04. The Hand Song--Nickel Creek
05. Everytime--Britney Spears (Shut Up)
06. Don't Take the Girl--Tim McGraw
07. Breathe Me--Sia
08. Hurt--Johnny Cash version
09. It Doesn't Matter--Alison Krauss & Union Station
10. Permanent--David Cook
11. Dangerous--Katherine McPhee
12. Almost Lover--A Fine Frenzy
13. Carjack My Heart--by Dance Movie
14. Bad Romance--30 Seconds to Mars version
15. Let's Dance--Vanessa Hudgens (I said shut up)
16. Rumors--Lindsay Lohan (Is this thing going to come up with every embarrassing pop tart song I have on here?

Date: 2011-11-12 12:54 am (UTC)I play music when I'm writing about 95% of the time. I know that music was crucial to writing my fic for the Star Trek Big Bang (it's lovingly dubbed "The Kirk" in my playlists) and there have been some songs that have really helped pull me through a fic.
Interesting question!
I'm always curious to see how different writers are affected by music.
