Today was a pretty good day. I took Rose back to the oral surgeon for her one week follow up appointment and things are healing nicely. He gave us another painkiller prescription in case she needed it. Tomorrow I go to the doctor for my pre-operative appointment. Let's hope I pass with flying colors because I do not want things to get postponed for something minor like a low grade temp or UTI. The way I've been dosing with cranberry juice I don't think the UTI had a chance, but you never know and I do have to have a culture done. *grumbles*
I wrote over a thousand words on the next chapter of Leap of Faith and I've basically written the next chapter of You're What? in my head. I almost feel like my old writing self again.
I finished my rewatch of Fringe. I found that I missed a lot of things the first time through season three. I was often so tired at night when I was watching it that I'd fall asleep during the last few minutes. In fact there was one episode that I must have completely slept through because I only recognized the first two minutes of it. I have to say that I had a lot more sympathy for the alternate world Olivia and Walter than I did the first time through. I mean, I still hate that that Olivia slept with Peter and got pregnant or that that Walter tried to kill our Olivia (and in fact did in one reality), but for the most part I do have much more empathy for them considering where they came from and how things shaped their world. I also adore that version of Charlie and think I'm a little bit in love with Lincoln.
I am really looking forward to next season. I want to see how they bring Peter back. I hope he's not gone for too long. Joshua Jackson was the reason I started watching Fringe in the first place. I fell in love with Anna Torv, John Noble, and Jasika Nicole along the way, but Joshua is my boy.

Date: 2011-07-01 12:40 am (UTC)I actually decided to give the show a try because you had a most saying that JJ Abrams has out-Jossed Joss, and as a die-hard Joss Whedon fan, I was curious.
