Let's just say Zombie Friday did not go well tonight.  Zombie High was so, I don't know...take the worst part of the 80's, add in what eventually became two very good actresses who were too young and inexperienced to be good when this movie was filmed, and bore me to death in the first twelve minutes.  Yeah, I turned it off.  I'm not that mindless of a zombie myself tonight.

I am rewatching season one of Fringe.  At least the evening can be somewhat salvaged.

We may or may not buy a new car tomorrow.  It's going to be hard to give up the TARDIS if we do.  A red Sienna will be more comfortable and downright nicer than the little blue box we have now.  The Matrix just isn't big enough for our kids who insist on growing taller every year and wanting things like legroom.  The dealer said we could transfer our vanity plates to the Sienna, though I don't think the Sienna passes for anything TARDISY.

Aren't you going to tell us the name of the horrid movie so that we can avoid it like the plague?

Mr. Whoville and I have talked about getting a Sienna as well... though I would have a hard time giving up our Family TARDIS -- a blue Subaru Outback wagon.

We watched an interesting, though decidedly non-Zombie film last night, Ghost Writer. It is a Roman Polanski film. I think the man is creepy, but he's a great filmmaker. It stars Pierce Brosnan (always good) and Ewan McGregor (even better) and Olivia Williams (she played Jane Austen in that BBC biopic about the life of Jane a few years back). It is a quiet film with a mystery that sort of sneaks up on you. Tom Wilkinson is in it as well. BUT, the film is worth checking out just to see the FANTASTIC HOME that Brosnan's character owns -- absolutely zombie proof, no joke!

I did. It's in the second sentence. It's called Zombie High.

I can't support anything by Roman Polanski. no matter how good it might be. He's one of my no gos.

I didn't even know it was a Roman Polanski film until the credits came on -- it was a rare Netflix DVD. We perhaps only watch one or two discs a month now, and stream all else.

Geez, I guess I didn't read too carefully.... I feel dumb.
