Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!!!  Oh, that's better.  I am having one of those days where I want to write, I have time to write, and the words seem to want to play hide and seek between the printed page and my brain.  Okay not printed page, computer page, but still the point is a valid one.  And it's driving me crazy.  It makes me just want to bang my head against the wall.

Yeah, so not doing that.  But still.  Anyway.  I'm watching series 3 of Cracker and I watched the two part episode that had John Simm in it when he was young.  I mean young.  He was playing a seventeen-year-old boy in it.  I thought Christopher Eccleston looked like a baby in this show, but John Simm was one.  Goodness.

You know that 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon game?  I'm firmly convinced there needs to be one centering on Doctor Who and British actors.  Only it could probably be 2 degrees of Doctor Who.  Because my goodness, is there anyone who hasn't worked with someone who ended up on Doctor Who?  I'm pretty sure the answer is a big, fat no there.

Why yes, I am just mindlessly babbling now, why do you ask?

EEK! PINK TARDIS FTW!

I konw those kinda days. I hate those kinda days. It usually means I need to do something to appease my muse like... read good smut or a silly fluff (depends on her mood)... after which she relaxes and let's me see the words. :)

Sometimes that works. Often. Just wasn't this time around. But things are moving again now, so thank goodness I seem to be through it.

You and your bunnies. You must have a breeding patch somewhere.

Welcome to my last 6 months. I've been stuck in Chapter 2 of the first follow-up fic to 18 Seconds for most of it. >.<

Hope your writer's block lasts a significantly shorter amount of time than mine has.

Oh, me, too. And I hope yours goes away because I really, really, really want to read your follow-up fic to one of my favorite who fics ever.

John Simm still looks like a child to me, but yeah, he was a baby in Cracker. Liam Cunningham, OTOH, was looking fine...and don't you know played CE's teacher/rival in Jude. I'm convinced that no one ever needs more than one intervening person to join up any two British actors.

Yeah, he surely was. Interesting. I've not seen Jude yet.

See, I thought of Emma Thompson, but she worked with Hugh Grant, who was in that really awful Curse of the Fatal Death thing, which I'm pretty sure still counts as Doctor Who, even if it wasn't exactly official.

(Also, on not getting words onto page? Yeah, I'm experiencing that with the Nine/Rose smut. I'm averaging three paragraphs a day. THEY'RE NOT EVEN NAKED YET.)

Even if you don't count CotFD, Emma Thompson was in Henry V with Derek Jacobi. Jacobi really increases the general Who-index...

Oh, I forgot about that. Derek Jacobi is a much better Who-connection, absolutely.

IMDB is my friend...

I learned that Mel Brooks is a 2, through John Barrowman in The Producers. So's Patrick Stewart, through Jacobi in I, Claudius and Alan Rickman through Tennant in Goblet of Fire.

I just love this game.

*eyes wide*

That is indeed the scariest plot bunny I have ever seen in my life.

(Incidentally, Bill just popped in here and demanded to know why I wasn't in bed. Although that might not be the bunny, but the fact that I'm sick. Still, thought you'd laugh at the connection.)

Well, goodness, how can you have Rose and Nine in a room together for that long and not get them naked? I mean, don't they just naturally want to strip each other down? Or is that just the way it goes in my fics? I have trouble with trying to get them to keep their clothes on so they can leave the TARDIS once in awhile. *sends smut bunnies your way*

AHA! I wondered why the bunnies starting attacking me last night on the Metro. YOU SENT THEM.

From: [identity profile] amberfocus.livejournal.com
Well, they were bored here, being as I wouldn't give in to their demands just yet and let them make Rose and Nine shag, so I thought you know, azriona could use them. *laughs* I take it they were effective?

From: [identity profile] azriona.livejournal.com
Well, I will admit that Nine and Rose did not get naked, but that's only because the train pulled into the station.

*blinks*

Um, none of that was meant to be metaphorical.

ANYWAY, the set-up is there and I'll write it after I watch Turn Left. Or do I possibly want to write this first, because after Turn Left I'm going to be inconsolable for a while? Decisions, decisions.

There could also be a 3 degrees to HP too, I think only Jacobi and Hugh Laurie are the only two british actors that haven't been in a potter movie.

Oh, and we could use some Billie Piper in Potter. Always.
