Head meet Wall
Jun. 18th, 2008 03:50 pmAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!!! Oh, that's better. I am having one of those days where I want to write, I have time to write, and the words seem to want to play hide and seek between the printed page and my brain. Okay not printed page, computer page, but still the point is a valid one. And it's driving me crazy. It makes me just want to bang my head against the wall.
Yeah, so not doing that. But still. Anyway. I'm watching series 3 of Cracker and I watched the two part episode that had John Simm in it when he was young. I mean young. He was playing a seventeen-year-old boy in it. I thought Christopher Eccleston looked like a baby in this show, but John Simm was one. Goodness.
You know that 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon game? I'm firmly convinced there needs to be one centering on Doctor Who and British actors. Only it could probably be 2 degrees of Doctor Who. Because my goodness, is there anyone who hasn't worked with someone who ended up on Doctor Who? I'm pretty sure the answer is a big, fat no there.
Why yes, I am just mindlessly babbling now, why do you ask?
EEK! PINK TARDIS FTW!

Date: 2008-06-18 11:40 pm (UTC)Welcome to my last 6 months. I've been stuck in Chapter 2 of the first follow-up fic to 18 Seconds for most of it. >.<
Hope your writer's block lasts a significantly shorter amount of time than mine has.

Date: 2008-06-19 11:02 am (UTC)I learned that Mel Brooks is a 2, through John Barrowman in The Producers. So's Patrick Stewart, through Jacobi in I, Claudius and Alan Rickman through Tennant in Goblet of Fire.
I just love this game.

Date: 2008-06-19 10:02 pm (UTC)That is indeed the scariest plot bunny I have ever seen in my life.
(Incidentally, Bill just popped in here and demanded to know why I wasn't in bed. Although that might not be the bunny, but the fact that I'm sick. Still, thought you'd laugh at the connection.)

Um, none of that was meant to be metaphorical.
ANYWAY, the set-up is there and I'll write it after I watch Turn Left. Or do I possibly want to write this first, because after Turn Left I'm going to be inconsolable for a while? Decisions, decisions.
