Date: 2008-06-01 10:56 pm (UTC)2. I have a nearly perfect photographic memory with about a 90% retention rate. I also tend to outline most of my stories so I know where I'm going with almost all of them. I don't alway keep on top of them, though. Sometimes I'll let one or two go for quite some time because I get blocked on them or the muse is busy elsewhere.
3. When I'm done with Hunger Moon I'm going to write the next Time Eternal story before I write Chaste Moon. And Guilt will have Ten. And hopefully I'll get unblocked on my in progress Ten story soon, too. It's being difficult.
4. Well, I don't work full-time, just ten hours/week. My kids are both in school full time and even when they're not they aren't clingy, they'll be out and about playing. I don't really watch television much, certainly never live (commercials waste time), and that frees up a lot of time, too. Honestly, I only spend about two or three hours a day writing most days. It tends to come out fast and easily.

Date: 2008-06-01 09:13 pm (UTC)"... I decided Thunder Moon is probably the best of the bunch because we will see the Oncoming Storm and there’s no saying I can’t use a different one in the future if I so choose. Very sketchy ideas still other than it will be task 3 for the Quest and there will be some serious jealousy and possessiveness and anger in this story when another man (a powerful alien) tries to make the Doctor surrender Rose to be his mate. Rose will take none too kindly to the alien’s machinations. I am toying with the idea of Rose being forced to kill him to save herself at the end of the story and the repercussions of that playing out in the next story."
Really-really-really looking forward to this one; the plot sounds great!
And if I may be so bold as to ask a second question, (2)are you going to post the next "Hunger Moon" chapter any time soon??? (I ADORE this Doctor/Rose and alt!univ that you've created!)

Date: 2008-06-01 11:07 pm (UTC)I think some of it is also that my dad and I used to play word games and pun games at the dinner table when I was growing up and you had to be very fast to keep up with his wit. I got used to thinking on my feet and coming up with clever things, and that translates into dialog and keeping the words flowing.
