According to the blurb that went with it this was the prototype for the season one Rose action figure, but Billie Piper didn't approve it so instead we got the other one with the fighting stance you can't take her out of. I like this one so much better, although the face is a little less accurrate. Bet you could get her to dance with the Nine doll properly. There's only three in existence. I want!

Date: 2010-02-24 01:52 am (UTC)Of course, my Nine is having to be happy with his s2 Rose, though he still seems to occasionally look at her shorter hair like, "There's something different about you... Can't quite put my finger on it, though..." And Rose just sorta rolls her eyes. ;)
Thanks for posting that, hon! I love seeing what's out there! :D ♥!
Edited for spelling fail. *eyeroll* ;)

Date: 2010-02-25 04:28 pm (UTC)I ordered 4 figures from Jsebold87 (Jessica) at etsy.com; my icon (sorry; very small) is of the 9th Doctor, which she recently finished. I requested the following figures: 9th Doctor Who, in his leather jacket; Jack Harkness, in long coat; 10th Doctor Who, in long coat; Rose Tyler, wearing her Union Jack T-shirt. These were priced a a (very low) price of $30 each, plus a small s&h fee.
The pics of Jessica's work are incredible; a very, very talented lady. She does warn that: "I will not make repeats of my previous work (sorry). If you want to see my previous work, please visit my website." (http://jsebold.webs.com/)
*Hugs*
