Britpick Question

Do you have a British organization like the Boy Scouts of America?  I know you have Girl Guides instead of Girl Scouts, but what is it for boys?  Thanks.

Girls can join Boy Scouts in the US too. I was in an Explorer troop sponsored by the local hospital from ages 14-21 (that would have been starting around 1980). Explorers are more career oriented than other senior scout troops, depending on who sponsors them they can be police, fire, sheriff, emergency services, or medical oriented. If you see teenagers with police or fire persons or they allow underage volunteers, that is probably how they do it by sponsoring a troop.
