How about Rose is altered after Boomtown, since I read your most recent post. She gets pregnant with 9's child. POTWs happens, with 9 much more upset due to the threat to his mate and unborn child. When Rose becomes Bad Wolf the Timetot is put in a state of temporal grace and thus unaffected by the energy, or so we think, then returned after the kiss/power exchange. Rose goes into labor right after 9's regeneration into 10. There could be some Votex displacement from the TARDIS that postpones 10's regenerative coma till the Timetot is born. Thus why he is out for most of the Christmas Invasion. How's that for an emotional traumatizing time for Rose and the Doctor. The only question is, in your universe did 9 ever hint or warn Rose about regeneration?
No, Nine has never warned Rose about regeneration. That is something from canon that I'm keeping if I go Ten, because it was very painful for her. And that means angst. And I likes my angsties. I'll let that idea rattle around in my brain for a few days. It's got potential. *smiles*
Even more if when Rose shows up back home in POTW very pregnant, she can use the "I want my baby to grow up with a father" card on Jackie in order to get her help. Then in Christmas Invasion the TARDIS shows up with a new Doctor, an exhausted Rose and a new baby.
