But thinking about it, the last choice seems to *fit* the best with the series, what with the angst and all. AND! If Rose did get pregnant the first time she let Ten in, and then found out, that would lead to even more angst on her part over the fact that she and Ten are having kids, but she was never able to give Nine children. *lightbulb moment* Unless you did a timey wimey fic where Ten and Rose run into Nine and after PotW and being Bad Wolf, her DNA's quirked just enough to match Nine and Ten, and she gets to have Nine babiez even though she raises them with Ten. OR! You could even keep up the angst just as well with her being pregnant now, finding out after he regenerates, and then dealing with the woe of Nine dying thinking he couldn't have a family with her, and Ten scared that Rose doesn't love/want him any more and she won't let him raise his child... Ack! So many choices!
But the options in the poll where PotW happens would match up with the show: I think season 2 and the Tenth Doctor were all about the Doctor learning to be happy, and finally being able to be happy with Rose. Until Doomsday came along and made him a wreck and season 3 dragged the time war back up and found the perfect way to twist that knife just that bit deeper (why yes, I am still pissed about it, why do you ask?).
But then again... after reading everyone's comments, I really want to see Nine get to raise tiembabiez with Rose. And now I realize that this comment has been absolutely unhelpful.
*sigh* Whatever the muse inspires you to do, go for it. But I for one would not be opposed to seeing to timelines spin off from this. It looks like *so far* in the poll that most want Nine tiembabiez and no PotW, and the next most popular option is PotW, Ten, and tiembabiez of some sort. So maybe you can do both? Please? Pretty please with sprinkles on top?
Your comment is pretty much like what the inside of my head is currently doing! *grins* LOL at your Doomsday through season 3 rant. I'm right there with you. I do think the final choice is the one most true to what this series has been about. Even without the time baby option, her not willing to just accept him into her bed after the change has loads of angst potential.
