An Update on my Aunt

My mother called me last night to tell me that it is unlikely that her sister will survive the week, probably won't make it until Thursday.  The congestive heart failure has barely improved with the medication and now she's got kidney failure that dialysis is not an option for or not working for because of some kind of complication with her diabetes.  Mom spent a long time talking to the doctors and in the end signed a DNR, or do not resuscitate order.

Fic Update

I have channelled all of my stress into writing today and have just sent chapter 53 of Zeppelins off to Amy to beta.  It is entirely possible I may need to further explain a few things, another 500 words or so.  With all that has been going on with my Aunt I need to make sure that I'm making sense in the translating from my head to the computer screen.  Still having a head cold and breathing in Vick's vapo rub fumes may be affecting my judgment, too.  So we'll see.  Quite a bit going on in this chapter.  Quite a lot more than even the last few plotty bits.  Should be interesting.  Can't believe this story is almost done.
