Grumbles

Argh!  One thing that drives me right up a wall is receiving a private message from someone and then being unable to respond because they've got their privacy setting enabled.  What's the point of someone asking me a question if I can't send you back an answer?  Not mad, just frustrated.

Anyway, here's my policy on friending.  Anyone can friend me, I'm happy to have you here, so long as you're respectful to everyone else who comments.  The Golden Rule is a big thing for me, so long as no one is nasty it's all good.  But I don't automatically friend you back unless I know you, have been reading your fic, like your icons and art or whatever.  I like to get to know people through comments and whatnot before I friend back.  This is simply because in the early days I had a couple of bad experiences on LJ and now it's a standing rule.  So hang around and let me get to know you.  I add to my f-list every couple of months.

I'm sorry if my last post came out kinda bitchy.  It wasn't directed at any one person or anything.  Just five times in two weeks I've tried to respond to something and run up against that feature so it made me grumpy.  Plus my smut muse still doesn't wanna work and I didn't sleep well last night and I'm sick and DH is in Alaska, though he did send me a lovely e-card that made me smile for like an hour.  And we'll talk tonight on the phone.

The Doctor has promised me drugs for the apparently super resistant sinus infection/bronchitis from hell that keeps reoccurring.  I just wanna get well.  We leave for Disney on the 23rd and I do not want to get onto an airplane with a fully blown sinus infection, let alone be sick for my entire vacation like I ended up being on the last trip we took to Victoria.

Also, thank you for all the birthday wishes everyone.  And the birthday fics.  And the virtual gifts.  And the offers for fic art.  And the two months of paid account time *smooches hezmanagirl* because my account was going to expire in the middle of my trip to Disney and it's just one last thing I don't have to deal with right now.  Makes turning 39 a bit more fun when you guys are all so sweet to me.
