Sorry and Thank You!

I'm sorry if my last post came out kinda bitchy.  It wasn't directed at any one person or anything.  Just five times in two weeks I've tried to respond to something and run up against that feature so it made me grumpy.  Plus my smut muse still doesn't wanna work and I didn't sleep well last night and I'm sick and DH is in Alaska, though he did send me a lovely e-card that made me smile for like an hour.  And we'll talk tonight on the phone.

The Doctor has promised me drugs for the apparently super resistant sinus infection/bronchitis from hell that keeps reoccurring.  I just wanna get well.  We leave for Disney on the 23rd and I do not want to get onto an airplane with a fully blown sinus infection, let alone be sick for my entire vacation like I ended up being on the last trip we took to Victoria.

Also, thank you for all the birthday wishes everyone.  And the birthday fics.  And the virtual gifts.  And the offers for fic art.  And the two months of paid account time *smooches hezmanagirl* because my account was going to expire in the middle of my trip to Disney and it's just one last thing I don't have to deal with right now.  Makes turning 39 a bit more fun when you guys are all so sweet to me.

I just realized I capitalized Doctor.  *rolls eyes at self*

AWWW, sweetie, I'm sorry you don't feel well. I hope you can get some rest and feel better and I will keep my fingers crossed that your smut muses will come home safe. Maybe they are hiding out with Jessica(ais's smut bunny).

Thanks. I really meant to go on YM last night and chat with you but my head just hurt too much. I think my smut muses are slowly coming out of hiding today, though. I had a couple of ideas. Of course one's for wiggiemomsi's birthday so even if it gets written it won't be seen for a week. And one's for ladychi's birthday so same thing. I really want to write something for Sarah, too. But...and this is the good part...the Rose/Jonathon muse is back up so maybe I'll actually have a romantic Zeppelins chapter sometime before Valentine's day is over.

Because I live only a few hours away from Disneyworld! (Which, since Murphy's Law virtually LIVES in my house these days, pretty much guarantees you are going to Disneyland, right?)

Yeah, I know what you mean. When my kids were...um... 5 and 2 I think... we went to San Francisco. My husband had a conference and I was on sabbatical that semester, so we all went. The trip was somewhat less than totally enjoyable. Although my son lost his first tooth while we were there and refused to put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy until we got back to Florida. He was worried that the doorman at the hotel would not let the tooth fairy in, and if she did get in, that she wouldn't be able to find our room! And my daughter kept insisting that we feed the "chickens" at Fisherman's Wharf (she would NOT say pigeons!) :-)
