Yay! I Has Empty Inbox Now!

The last time I tried to answer all my comments LJ went down on me for 3 hours.  The time before that the internet went down on me.  *grumble growls*  And also, that sounds vaguely dirty.  *snorts*  But even if LJ did keep going to a blank page every 5th or 6th reply I managed to wade through 88 responses today and I now has empty inbox! *grins*

Doubt is rolling along and IDEAS for Zeppelins are roaring around in my brain now thanks to throwing things at Amy last night and seeing what stuck.  She is the best sounding board and beta in "teh internets," as they say.  *huggles Amy*  So the goal is, finish up chappie 1 of Doubt and then open up Zeppelins and see how fast we can get that dirigible going.

Fic Update

Okay, I just finished ch. 1 of Doubt and sent it off to Amy for beta.  And...it hurts.  Ye, gads, it hurts.  The way it ends, I so did not ever intend to take it there but I'm thinking that...well, the planned course of this story may change.  As in, yes, he might have to find out about the baby sooner than at the end of GitF.  I tried really hard to steer it back to where I had first planned on sending it, but it didn't want to go there.  It found the opportunity for making the angst worse and it took it.  And I...I'm at a loss.  It wrote itself there.  I just went along for the ride.  When that happens I've learned not to argue.

Now I'm going to go and write Zeppelins fluff because...*wipes tears away*...that chapter hurts!

She rushes out of the kitchen. How can he just walk away from her like that when she’s about to tell him the biggest thing that’s ever happened to her? The biggest thing that’s ever happened to them? Damn it, he’d wanted this baby!

Britpick Super Quick Question?

HonorH has promised me Nine/Rose smut if I post the next chapter of Doubt within 24 hours.  So, I need a quick answer on British abortion laws.  Do you have any kind of waiting period before a woman can get an abortion?  Does the law require any kind of counseling first?  Is it done at private clinics or hospitals or what?  What's the state run health thingy called?  NIH?  Can't remember.  How's it work?  Especially if you don't have money?  Or is it all state sponsered?

Now I will state flat out that Rose is not going to get an abortion, as I'm sure you already all are suspecting that I wouldn't do that to her, but at this moment she thinks she is.  Help please.
