Is Teaspoon dead again?  It's been hours and hours since they've updated.  Oh, joy, that means I'll get to have two fics buried somewhere on the 5th page when they finally start posting again.  Unless they go alphabetically like they sometimes do when they get behind.  Then there's a chance.  *sighs*  Sometimes I wonder why I still post there, but then I remember there are some people who don't come here and only read me there so... *shrugs*  What's a girl to do?  Oh, yeah.  Whine.  Like this.  And remember they're still the best archive of DW.  And whine some more.

Edited to add:  No, I'm not leaving them.  Don't stress.  I'm just whining.  And they did finally post a half hour ago.  Still on the first page and everything.

“What do you mean it’s me?  I’m standing right here,” Rose protested.

 

“Take a look for yourself,” he said.  She came around the console to stand beside him and peered at the monitor.  The woman standing there was definitely her.  Thinner, quite a bit thinner, and there was no sign of grown in roots, and her makeup was an awful lot lighter and she was older.  Maybe four or five years older.

Chapter Thirteen:  Self-Sufficiency

With as many people, including Landon, as could be spared working on the shuttle to get it up and running as soon as possible, the Doctor continued to lay out what he knew about the Ganyites, which admittedly wasn’t as much as he would have liked. Rose wasn’t very happy to find they didn’t seem to have any physical weaknesses.

“So basically you’re telling me they’re super strong, of superior intelligence to most species, and virtually indestructible?” Rose said.
