Teaspoon?

Is Teaspoon dead again?  It's been hours and hours since they've updated.  Oh, joy, that means I'll get to have two fics buried somewhere on the 5th page when they finally start posting again.  Unless they go alphabetically like they sometimes do when they get behind.  Then there's a chance.  *sighs*  Sometimes I wonder why I still post there, but then I remember there are some people who don't come here and only read me there so... *shrugs*  What's a girl to do?  Oh, yeah.  Whine.  Like this.  And remember they're still the best archive of DW.  And whine some more.

Edited to add:  No, I'm not leaving them.  Don't stress.  I'm just whining.  And they did finally post a half hour ago.  Still on the first page and everything.

Like me!

I've been a fan for ages and can almost only ever get your stories through teaspoon. I actually just created a livejournal account specifically to tell you that. There are some of us heathen, non internet owning folks still out here that steal bandwidth when possible and use it to read Doctor/Rose smut.

I won't stop posting at Teaspoon. I just get frustrated by how slow they are to post these days. And even though my stats say I'm getting around 700 hits per chapter, these days almost none of the readers ever review. I brought a lot of people over with me when I started my LJ but the stats don't lie so there are a lot of people who read and just never say anything, which is frustrating for me as an author. I thrive on feedback and if I only really get it here, it makes it less likely for me to want to bother there, I suppose. I will though because of the five people over there that still leave comments and because it makes it easier to read things straight through.

I gather that Teaspoon (a recent discovery for me) doesn't have the facility that Twisting the Hellmouth does where you can tag stories to be notified when the author updates?

If you favorite the author Teaspoon will email when ever there is an update or new story posted. :)

Oh, wonderful, that's what I need! Thanks for that.

OH! One more thing! You also need to go to your Personal Information page on Teaspoon and click the box that says to email you with updates to your Favorites list!!! Sorry, I forgot to tell you that part!

Actually I spotted the ticky box when I registered on the site after your first message. Thanks though - would have been annoying if I'd not.

Awesome

I need to check my email more, apparently. Must have a TON of updates.

I am glad you still post there, even though my first read of your stories is usually here on LJ now. For re-reading Teaspoon works better for me, since I can click on "Story" and read the whole thing at once.

Yeah, it makes it easier for me to find things too when I'm searching for something I wrote.

Please don't leave Teaspoon! Its the first place I go when I need a'fix'. Never thought I'd be addicted to Who smut. LOL And don't worry about us not finding your new stories. Smart people have you favorited.

Teaspoon is a slight bit annoying. The only thing I prefer about it to LJ is that I can actually read through the stories without having to dig through people's archives. With your stories, though, I usually just link immediately over here.

*smiles* Yeah, the organizational structure there is very good for a story archive. The best I've run across. They just frustrate me these days with their slowness.
