I think with the right haircut and outfit, plus some form of glasses, he will be utterly lovely.
He does have many months in which to choose his new look and probably an army of stylists..

The potential is there, I think, and they must have seen something pretty powerful in him during the audition. I mean, it's not a part that a weak actor can take on so I'll try to trust that they know what they're doing.

When I first saw him I had the thought that if 9 and 10 had a child together it would look like him.

He certainly has the neck. I mean, really, it's a good neck, almost as good as Ten's. Not quite in the same category as Nine's but then whose is?

Yes, that's a much prettier picture than the one the Doctor Who website used for the news release. I saw that one and thought, "Good Lord, please either cut or comb his hair." I've never seen him in anything, so I'm totally reserving judgment until I see him. I'm already stocking up on tissues, though, for next year's Christmas Special. I figure I'll need a box or two or seven. :)

I know. His hair was all over the place, it was ridiculous. I mean, give him really, really heavy eyeliner and he could have been a rockstar instead of an actor.

I've seen him now in The Ruby in the Smoke and The Shadow of the North and I think he's gonna probably be okay with the role.

I saw that picture the other day and it is definitely my favorite. The hair still needs a bit of a cut, but the glasses make him look HAWT.
