Also I will be posting fic today. The first chapter out of 8 of wiggiemomsi's auction fic. It's Nine/Rose and will eventually have smut in it, but it is a 15,000 word fic (perhaps a bit longer). I've gone up, down and around with this fic and changed the premise several times, but now that I'm off hydrocodone for a couple of days I can focus and I've got this puppy whipped into shape. Ibuprofen does not mess with my thinking.

Oh, and the fic is called That Which One Cannot Do Without, based off the sine qua non phrase invisigothds sent me yesterday. I'll likely post it in an hour or so.

For those who have been asking, my hand is steadily improving though I am still limiting myself to writing about an hour a day and icing it afterwards.

I'm trying to remember a word or possibly a phrase and I can't for the life of me dig it up out my brain right now.  It basically means two halves of a whole, something like Yin and Yang, something like you must have both parts for it to be right, to operate properly, to function best.  Something like balance.  It's driving me crazy.  Help.

Anyone want me to beta a fic?

Also, I bought the new Kelly Clarkson CD as it falls under the category of music my daughter likes that I will listen to in the car without clawing my ears off.  Does anyone else think that the song, "My Life Would Suck Without You," is a perfect opportunity for a Master and Tenth Doctor crack!vid?  From the Master's POV mostly although there are a few lines in there I can see from Ten's point of view.

Tell me that is not perfect?

Is there a way to filter out Twitter posts?  They are driving me crazy lately, popping up all over my f-list.  There has got to be a way to not get them.

I have writer's block so bad this week it's not even funny.  I've managed to eek out 1326 words and that's it.  For someone who usually manages 10,000 to 12,000 words a week, that is not good.  Not good at all.  Maybe the words will find their way back to me tomorrow.  The kids are spending the night after T's birthday dinner with my parents and then all day Saturday, too.  I'll have uninterupted time to write so hopefully the words will flow.  This is just so frustrating.  Writing is what I do to bring my stress levels down.

On the bright side we're making up a lot of lost ground from being so sick last week on our homeschooling lessons.  That's something.  The kids are doing so much better.  Still not entirely well, though.  I swear I feel like I've had a cold since October.  And the snow isn't helping me feel any better either.

Maybe I should give up trying to make a work in progress go at the moment.

Anybody want to throw some fluff prompts my way?  Either Nine, Ten, or Ten2.  Or Jonathon, if anyone has an idea for a missing scene outtake of the cracky or silly variety.  All with Rose.  Donna, Martha, Mickey, Jackie or Jack (though Jack can hit on anyone being Jack) are allowed in a non-romantic with the Doctor or Rose capacity.  Not in the mood for angst, though hurt/comfort would be okay.  And sweet smut.  Not in the mood for dominant/possessive/jealous Nine, either (who said that?).  At least not if I have to write it.  Smutty drabble prompts with a certain scenario could work, too.

I want to write something sweet and fluffy and smutty and along the lines of hurt/comfort for ladychi. She's had a hard time the last few days and is in a lot of pain. But my mind is drawing a complete blank. I need a basic plot or something. Anyone got any spares lying around? Just something one-shotish or two-shotish.

Will somebody on my f-list, or even somebody who isn't, write me some lusty!Nine quite possibly lustier!Rose smut?  I mean, yes, I am perfectly well able to write my own, and am doing so, but...I know how it ends, so having something else would be...just lovely.  Pretty pleases?
