Life Viewed Through an Amber Focus

To help people keep things straight in the Time Eternal and Jack's Path series of stories, here is the Doctor (Ten) and Rose's family tree.  I'll add to it as grandchildren and great grandchildren are born.

The Doctor marries Rose Tyler and they produce six children over thirty years.

Chapter Three:  Within Temptation

“Don’t eat any more of that,” Jack said as Andromeda tucked into the dessert.

“Why not? It’s marvelous,” she said, bringing her spoon up to her own mouth and savoring the delicious chocolate concoction. “Can’t think of anything better to do right now than eating it. Go on, Jack. Have some more.”

He bit his lip hard trying not to be drawn by the young woman across from him or the addictive dessert in front of him. Unable to stop himself he took a few spoonfuls more and instantly knew that he had to get away from the table before he completely lost his self-control or he was going to be doing something about the aphrodisiac qualities of the dessert.

A/N:  We meet two more of the Doctor and Rose's children and Andromeda's note is discovered. Meanwhile Andromeda and Jack depart Deneb 8 on the Orion Cutlass.

Chapter Two:  Leave it All Behind

Ten-year-old Xanderius Tyler wandered into the console room of his parent’s TARDIS. As the youngest of Rose and the Doctor’s children he was seldom allowed in there without supervision, simply because he’d once managed to disassemble the time rotor in four and a half minutes when he was eight. It never seemed to matter to his parents that it had only taken him twelve minutes to put it back together. Correctly. Even his dad wasn’t that fast.

A/N:  This is the sequel to Post Pomp, but it is more Jack's sequel, than Ten and Rose's sequel although they are in it with most of their children and grandchildren.  Cassi and Daniel Harper are in it, as well as the girl who will become the love of Jack's life, the Doctor and Rose's granddaughter Andromeda Harper.  The timeline for this story runs like so.  It has been ten years since the events of Post Pomp for Jack Harkness.  He is 33 years old and he is about to embark on the two years that are missing from his memories.  It has been closer to 40 to 45 years for the Doctor and Rose (who were reunited in the Time Eternal series).  Cassi is about a year and a half to two years from being sent back in time to the events of Post Pomp.  Yes, it's that timey whimey.  And I do play fast and lose with a few things to do with piloting TARDISes and such, but since he's the last non-hybrid Gallifreyan, I figure the Doctor can make it up as he pleases.

Chapter 1A:  Bittersweet

“Cassi, be reasonable,” the Doctor said sweetly looking at his eldest daughter and trying to keep his exasperation out of his tone. Rose Tyler sighed.  Cassi Harper was the most sensitive, arrogant, and if truth be told annoying, of their six children and easily lost her temper, at least with her father.  Not that he didn’t sometimes deserve it, but Cassi could go off faster than Rose’s mother at times and that was saying something.
