Finished Doubt

Well, I finished Doubt but this last part is almost 6000 words and LJ will have fits if I try to post it in one go so I think I'm going to have to break it up into either two chapters or three.  I've sent it off to Amy but she won't likely get to it until tonight and we'll decide where to do the chapter breaks.

I've also, on my angst breaks, been working a bit on a rewrite of Just Another Shop Girl.  I'm adding anywhere from 500 to 1000 words per chapter.  JASG was the first time I wrote Nine and Jack and I wasn't very good at them then.  Even Rose was a little less well-rounded then I generally write her now.  And the main OC I was never very happy with but I like her quite a bit better now.  I also didn't tend to flesh out my stories like I do now either.  I've learned a lot in the last 14 and a half months of writing Doctor Who and I've always wanted to fix the things I didn't like about this story.  I'll start posting it now I've got several chapters rewritten and beta'd.  If you have read it before, it's going to have the same story line, just better character development and a bit more flirt/tease/snark.

More Doubt? YAY!!!! 6k words? BIGGER YAY!!!

You know...if LJ won't let you post it all at once in a single post, you could post it as multiple posts but all at the same time... ^blinks innocently^... though that could put all your readers in paroxisms of delight for days to come...but would that be a bad thing??

Can't wait to read the rest of Doubt (no, really...I absolutely can't wait) and I'm looking forward to reading JASG. Thanks so much for the FANTASTIC fic and for the rest of Doubt in advance! :D

Selfishly, I'm glad to have more Nine/Rose to read! Especially with snark and flirtation (which, basically, is their entire relationship sans the smolder). I've been swamped with RL, and am just getting back to LJ, but pickings are slim. (I tried, I really tried, with Doubt, but I just can't... I'm sorry!)

Yeah, I know how you feel about Ten and that he just doesn't manage to work for you. And with him being such a jerk in the first part of Doubt...well, yeah. I get that.

I feel awful, I really should be keeping up with your stories. You're a fabulous writer. I've just been so busy. The next time I have free time I will definitely read your updates. And I will finish a bunch of fics that need finishing.
