Fic Update and Sick Update
Nov. 2nd, 2008 03:23 pmHey, everyone. Thanks for all the lovely get well wishes. I have spent the majority of the weekend in bed. I've slept a lot and I've watched a lot of Supernatural and I've even done some writing. Not anywhere near like usual, but I did manage to complete chapter 34 of You're What? and sent it off to Amy. I've also written 1500 some words for my ficathon fic. I signed up for my first ficathon, the More than Friends one that Hearts in Time is doing. I like it a lot so far.
I will be working next on Zeppelins, I think. I can't promise any dates for posting as I only write as I have the energy to do so right now. It's nice to have a laptop in bed, though. *smiles* The pneumonia is still kicking my butt, but the rest does help an awful lot. I'm not coughing near as much after four days on antibiotics so that's an improvement, right? Just wish my ribs didn't feel so bruised from the coughing I did before.

Date: 2008-11-02 11:37 pm (UTC)You need to rest and keep warm but try not to lay flat, keep upright in bed and try to get up and have a few minutes out of bed if you feel able. Lack of motion can make pneumonia worse, especially if you are laying flat. I know it hurts but try and make yourself take deep breaths and open up the bottom of your lungs; full inflating them can help if you are having fluid on your chest.
Take care xxx
