Fic Update

amberfocusWell, after a long chat session with Victoria last night about ch. 4 of Leap of Faith, I added in some stuff about Tosh training with Jake, and a scene with Mickey and Ianto, and that ended up moving something else into ch. 5 because I was not going to have a 5000 word chapter. LJ does not like 5000 word chapters when you use Rich Text and I'm too lazy to code for html. Not to mention I'm not very good at it once you get past the most basic stuff.
I think I actually like where the chapter breaks better now. You guys probably won't, but hee, this is all about anticipation, isn't it? So now it's officially gone off to beta and I've gotten a thumbs up from V on the new scenes and should have it back from Amy today. thetesh is just a bouncer (as in I bounce ideas off him and he tells me what he thinks and makes suggestions) and my general go to guy for technical and sciency bits, I don't have to wait for him to go over this one. So it looks like Thursday for posting ch. 4 and not Friday. Oh, I don't think I've mentioned who thetesh is before. He's my husband, an electrical engineer, and an advanced computer nerd/science geek. What I can't find out through my own research, usually comes from him and his research.
Anyway, the main story is coming along nicely. I'm writing ch. 7 and putting the finishing touches on ch. 5.
If anyone has seen my Jonathon and Rose muse, though, if you could give them a sharp poke and send them back my way, I'd appreciate it.
