Post a single sentence from each WIP you have (or as many as you want to pick). No context, no explanations.
1. She knows he's there before he even says a word.
2. Each pentagonal face changed from white to one distinct color and a shimmering glow emanated from within the center, casting myriad rainbow lights all about the room.
3. Captain Harkness finishes talking into a mobile then joins their group and leans down to say something in Lumin’s ear.
4. And then he did something clever with his tongue and she found herself not really caring about anything other than that.
5. The ship looked less battered than in his time, he’d obviously made a lot of repairs over time, and there were toys and books scattered about one corner of the room.
6. Lovely hair or no, if he was going to ignore her right now she was well and truly going to consider the back of his head a right and proper target.
7. When her injured daughter shows up on her doorstep clutching an infant and with no memory of the past six months of her life, Jackie Tyler decides then and there that if she ever sees the smug face of that arrogant Doctor again, he’s going to get more than just a slap from her; she’s going to beat him into next week for leaving her daughter like this.
8. As it was he had had to rewrite alien code in trinary and deal with the mechanical intricacies of an interfering race of scientists called the Dop.
9. She still holds the gun on him one-handed, her body held sideways, the weapon straight out, unwavering in her stance.
10. Rose takes a sip of her drink, something with far too much fruit and not enough alcohol if she has to sit and watch the Doctor chat up some little floozy with too much cleavage and not enough brain cells.
11. He just had the unsettling feeling that if he took her, and he didn’t like the way his mind went to that imagery, taking her, not making love to her but taking her; if he took her, it’d be from a hard, dark, lonely, spiraling scary place and not from where he wanted it to come from, which was a place of hope and joy and pleasure at being alive and being able to share that life, finally, fully, with Rose Tyler.
12. Talk about inappropriate shagging during times of crisis!
Okay, I think I better stop there and get back to working on Hunger Moon.
