Then she was there. Smiling so hard through her tears. Holding her arms out wide to offer him comfort, solace, joy again. His hearts started beating for the first time in years. She forgave him everything. How long it took to find a way to get her back. How different a man he had become without her there to hold his hand. How he had broken when he’d lost her.
