I Hate Insomnia and Fic Updates

What is it about insomnia and me that likes to go hand and hand down the garden path?

I did finally get caught up on all my reviews on Teaspoon.  Now I just need to do it here.  Far more daunting task.  I only had 19 at Teaspoon.  I've got 124 on LJ.  Not that I'm complaining, I love hearing from you guys!  And responding.  I've just been so deep into the story writing when I've been home and had a ton of back to school shopping to do when I wasn't, plus had Mom's birthday, that I've fallen behind again.  Hard to believe my inbox was empty just 3 days ago.  Well, hopefully I'll get it done tomorrow.

I've managed to get 711 words into chapter eleven of Zeppelins and 526 words into the discussion between Rose and Mickey in the next chapter of You're What?  Oh, and Amy and I thrashed out my issues with Hunger Moon the other day so I'm hoping when school starts next week and the kids are out of the house for six hours a day I'll be able to get that one moving again.  Vortex is moving pretty slowly.  I know where it's going but...meh.  I'm still annoyed with Ten.  Not the Ten of Vortex, but the Ten that left Rose behind with Ten2 in Journey's End.  Makes it difficult sometimes to find his voice when I want to smack him.  I ought to think about finishing Pushing the Boundaries, too.  Moments in Darkness is still on hiatus even though chapter one of Guilt is almost finished and we won't even bring up Andromeda Rising, will we?  Though I should finish bringing the already written chapters over here on that one, like I'm doing with Vortex.

I suppose I should try again to get some sleep.

Don't be mad at 10! It's not his fault he was badly written! Be mad at Steven Moffat! All my Doctor Who anger is directed at him because he's taking over, and I hate him. Never mind that RTD wrote the last 2 eps, it's still Steven Moffat's fault. I doubt I'll even be watching DW anymore after all the heart/gut-wrenching torture he's put us through.

Just remember: 10 is good; TPTB are bad.

OR you can imagine that when he put all of his regeneration energy into TheHand!, it accidentally took all of his love for Rose and put it in there, too. Then it wouldn't have been his fault either...sort of...

I'm grasping at everything I can reach here because I love your 10 in Of the Vortex Born. It's probably one of the best 10s I've ever read because you actually show him being powerful and wise and not the babbling idiot most writers make him out to be. (Including a lot of the recent "cannon" writers. :p ) *pets him*

Oh, believe me I'm well mad at Moffat. I will keep watching Who, though because I love it, I've been watching since I was four and I won't quit unless they totally destroy the show. And I enjoy Tennant so much. If they give him a Donna type companion I'll be pretty happy with where they go. If they give him River Song in the form of Alex Kingston, I think I'll barf. I love her, but not in that role. Maybe if they cast another actress for it.

I can make Ten babble without turning him into an idiot. I'm glad you like him in Vortex. He's very good there, even if he does make a couple of mistakes with Rose.
