Why is it that such little things can make me so ridiculously happy?

I made myself a new banner for A Sky Without Zeppelins.



And I checked my stats at Teaspoon today and have now hit 250 (254!) people having favorite authored me.  I am in serious squee mode.

I am having a lot of fun with chapter four of Zeppelins, by the way.  I hope to have it posted by midnight Pacific Daylight Time.  Well, I'm hoping for earlier, but that depends on a lot of things.  Jackie keeps interupting me with more arguements for You're What?  She's pesky like that.  Never really had a Jackie muse before.  Well, okay, she did pop up in Sacrifice, didn't she?  But before that, not much of a one.  She's awfully bossy.

We retrieved our kids from camp this morning and they both passed out and are sound asleep!  And neither one wanted to leave again, and they both still want to go back again next year.  Good thing, because they are.  Rose talked almost non-stop on the ride home.  She had a blast.  I was a bit worried for her without her cousin there this time, but the counselors all said she was very outgoing and friendly and had a great time without hiding behind her more outgoing cousin, so I'm really happy.  Gives me great hopes for her starting junior high in a school that's being fed by two other elementary schools that she'll easily make new friends to go with the old ones.  And she got emails this time of the kids she met, so she can keep in touch until next summer.

Congratulations on the faves! You completely deserve it, and I am not at all surprised.

Your Jackie muse makes me smile, bossy or not! She has always been a lovely character & I missed her almost as much as Rose during Season 3.

It must be nice to have the kids home again from camp! Still a bit of summer left to enjoy, too! :)

Thank you so much. I'm glad you like my Jackie. I love writing her in any version. I missed her and Mickey very much in Season 3. Yes, I missed the kids, though there have been couple of times when they've been fighting where I wished I could ship them off again!

You so deserve the favored author status! And yes, I am one of those 254 people with excellent taste. :-) You are the best kind of fanfic author - talented and prolific at the same time! I have favorites who only update once a month and while I love them, it's the ones like you who keep me going. Here's to your next milestone. Maybe go for 500?
