My daughter informed me that on Tumblr Benedict Cumberbatch is often called Bumblebee Cucumber. This makes my whole week.

That is wonderful. I will have to call him Bumblebee Cucumber now as well. My 15 year old daughter has a major Benedict crush so this will be fun. Really, I am a nice mother.

Bumblebee Cucumber is a much nicer version of what Tumblr usually calls him, lol. I think pretty much any combination of multi-syllable words, ideally not not necessarily starting with "B" and "C", have come to stand in as his name. There was a post going around recently about how someone was at a waffle house and the menu said "Buttermilk Chocochip" and they initially read it as meaning Cumberbatch, lol, which... is really quite understandable if you spend any time on Tumblr where people talk about Cumberbatch.
