If I hear that stupid Kmart commercial one more time I'm not going to be responsible for my actions. I do not care about the lights that light the lights. Or a company that makes their employees work on Thanksgiving.

I hate that commercial too. The only shopping I do on Black Friday is at a local festival (Dickens Holiday in Fayetteville, NC), where I buy handmade goods from vendors. I'm glad the ad Target ran last year wasn't brought back.

I *completely* agree. Also, I do not care what amazingly incredible deals one might be able to get at Target. I will not shop there on Thanksgiving. If I run out of something, I'll improvise. But I will not do anything that might lead them to think that opening tomorrow is a good thing.

I think it's horrible that anyone would have to work retail on Thanksgiving or any other major holiday. I don't mind working because my job is connecting people on the phone. I think retail being open is completely unnecessary.
