Accessing LJ these days is like trying to load a picspam with a 56K modem. No, I take that back. That was faster. I can't even access the part where it says what is wrong, although I have a feeling it's due to all the "improvements" they are making. Maybe it really is time to make the switch.

It took almost 3 minutes for me to get the comment box up! It really is pretty horrible. The last few days it's been a 50/50 chance at whether or not it will load or will let me post or comment. As a matter of fact, it took me 6 attempts to post a short one shot. And dreamwidth crossposting does not work. I keep wondering what will be the last straw to make people migrate to dreamwidth permanently. I already know people relying more on tumblr for blogs than lj.

Actually, I cross-posted this entry from Dreamwidth. It doesn't say that I did, but I did. If this doesn't let up it's going to make organizing a ficathon really difficult.

I REALLY hate to say this because I've finally gotten comfortable with lj, when it works, but you could cross-post the ficathon from dreamwidth.

I tried crossposting twice one time lj gave me trouble, and DW said it was lj's fault.

I know it's no consolation, but you're most definitely not alone. The errors and hideous loading times are why I'm still playing catch up, even though I'm skipping chunks of my f-list to do it.

OMG your Nine/Rose profile icon is to die for. If you did that manip, I bow to your magnificence! I'm not new to Who or the reboot although I am pretty new to Who fic. I am definitely loving what I am finding for Nine/Rose stories and would say that I am a Nine/Rose shipper. Would you be willing to share a larger format jpeg of that pic? just for my own viewing pleasure ... bigger than an icon.

All I can tell you was that it was made by redcirce and that it was a larger manip, but I'm not sure exactly where she originally posted it. It was a couple of years ago, though.
