I am making myself cry.  Dang it.  Why is Ten such a self-sacrificing emo boy?  Is anybody writing fluff?  I needs me some fluffies.  I may have to go read Smut Bunnies again (you go Irishlullaby!)  Amy, if you're up late tonight I may be sending you two chapters, one of Sacrifice and one of You're What? within the next couple of hours.  Victoria's on another date with Whofan boyfriend tonight.  I think they're getting serious.  I'll still send it to her, too, but...

*hugs you* I'm working on a large, hush-hush, vid project (it's supposed to be a secret, which is why I'm not saying much about it on my own LJ, 'cause too many of my flist also visit the site it's for ;) ) but that's what's sucking up both my muse's attention and all of my spare online time. Anyway, point being why I'm mentioning that is that I'm really desperate to get back to trying my hand at writing something again and I'm definitely hoping for something fluffy and just lightweight and fun. Preferably with Nine/Rose if I can keep them from taking the off-ramp to Smutville every time I turn around, lol! ;)

Honestly, it's vexing me that I can't seem to come up with ANYTHING that doesn't immediately go to smut, lol! ;) And I'm not quite ready to go that far just yet (plus I've still got way too many teenaged flisters and I don't want to feel like I'm corrupting them, lol! ;) And it feels rude to filter them out and if I'm planning on linking out to comms, it has to be a public entry anyway :S ).

So, in lieu of anything fluffy fic to point you towards, I'll just use my Happier Ending TSE icon. At least it's something I made and it's happy! ;) ♥!

Well, one way to keep Nine/Rose smut bunnies at bay is to do hurt/comfort fic. One of them gets hurt, the other has to care for them and they get all tender, but never cross the boundaries. Of course, there can be lots of longing. Either that or crack.

Rose misusing the sonic screwdriver (not like that!) or breaking it is one of my favorites. Of course you have to be real careful not to let the sonic become symbolism for the Doctor's...erm...dangly bits. Because it's prone to go that way if you don't keep a sharp eye on it.

For fluff, I like the Doctor giving Rose a silly, sweet gift for no good reason, Rose falling asleep on the Doctor, and anything where they dance. Maybe something above will give you some ideas to get back to it.

Anyway, those are fabulous prompt/ideas! (I had no idea how handy prompts are until I started dabbling in drabbling! ;) ) I do so adore hurt/comfort so I'd definitely like to try something in that one of these times. And hee, I hear you on watching the sonic symbolism there, lol! ;)
