Bangs Head Just a Bit Against the Wall

Do you know how hard it is to write smut when your kids keep running into the room and come and stand right behind your shoulder and even the little one can read pretty well by now so you have to keep quickly turning the laptop away and shrinking Word down to the bottom of the screen so they don't ask you questions you don't particularly want to answer right now about why the word penis is on your screen and there's no way they won't see it if you're not fast enough because you normally type in 14 pt font because of your eyes and only shrink it down later when posting it?

And I've caught a summer cold.  Ugh.  But the former is bothering much worse than the latter.  Meanwhile, I wrote 1500 words in the Ten 2/Rose series Forward Steps Along the Path called Sacrifice.  A prequel to Defunct, it starts in the TARDIS after everyone has been dropped off but Rose, Jackie, and Donna.  It will go through the beach scene and probably have at least three parts to it.  So far I really like it.  I wasn't quite able to face this particular portion of the story when I started the series, as Journey's End was far too fresh.  That's getting better.  Writing this series is making it better.

I'm thinking about changing my default icon.  I'd really like to find a Nine/Rose one that grabs me.  Though my other choice is the one I'm using here.  Only it feels a bit disloyal still to choose Ten2/Rose.  Am I just being weird?  Or am I just still mad at Ten for what he did in JE and wanting to punish him by using a Ten2/Rose icon?  Yeah, my head is really like that.  Don't you know that by now? *laughs*

I'll try to finish Inflame after the kids have gone to bed.

I thought I'd just drop you a line to tell you how much I'm enjoying your series "Better With You" on A Teaspoon and An Open Mind. I found it by sheer accident and I can't remember a fic for ages that has captured me so thoroughly. I love your Alt!Nine doctor and his hurting Alt!TARDIS - I just read the scene where Romana first appears in her time delayed hologram and nearly cried.

I'm celebrating the fact that the first one is complete but was disconcerted to find that the second is not! Have friended you so as to be able to get updates as they appear. :-)
