Lazy Day

I spent most of today reading.  Well, between doing the mundane day to day living things, like laundry and dishes and cooking.  I did write some.  Pushing the Boundaries is up to 1149 words now.  That's the Ten with Donna side of the Nine/Rose fic The Boundaries of Consent.  The set-up is done, the decision being made to go to the same ball as he knows he took Rose to as Nine.  Donna's a bit ballsy, but of course she would be.

I also wrote 94 words on a Ten2/Rose adjustment fic that might or might not follow Defunct.  It's very hazy at the moment.

Did some thinking about how Jackie is going to react to the revelation that Nine got Rose pregnant and married her in YW?  I'm trying to decide if Jack should attempt to seduce Jackie at some point or if that's just too squicky.  Not successfully, of course.  Or if it would actually be more fun to see Jackie put the moves on Jack and him trying desperately to avoid it out of respect for Rose.  Perhaps play that for humor.

Did some thinking on Mickey's reaction as well.  Afraid that'll have to be all anger and angst.  Can't see him reacting any other way.  Certainly not with giving them his blessing.

It was 90 degrees today and I couldn't find my swimming suit so couldn't take the kids to the pool.  They did play with their super soakers.  First time I've ever been tempted to join them.

And never resist temptation - I did the super soaker thing a couple of weeks ago with my small niece and nephew...the most fun I've had in years. if I can do it at 48, then you certainly can lol

May do. I wouldn't put it past her, certainly. *grins*

As for the super soakers, Rose's weighs 11 pounds and Tobias's weighs 6 and my wrists are useless. I do have some bitty spray guns that hold 2 cups of water that I might use. Course the heat wave is over for now, thank goodness.

Lol, if Jackie found out about the baby, the marriage, AND the indecent exposure charge, her head would explode. "It was a decent young woman that left my side a year ago! Where has she gone?!"

LOL. But I don't think it's the arrest Jackie will care about so much as the marriage and the baby on the way.
