It's been driving me crazy for weeks, trying to figure out where I'd seen the woman who plays Mira, the rebel leader of the Sixers, on Terra Nova. I finally looked it up today. She played Cathica in The Long Game on Doctor Who. I knew I'd seen those cheekbones before. Yet another reason for me to love this show.

I spotted her in a commercial and instantly recognized her. In fairness, though, I also remembered her from Pushing Daisies, where she played Emerson Cod's dog-trainer girlfriend.

I stopped watching it after the first hour of the Premiere, but I was like, that's ... that's, wasn't she on Doctor Who? Yeah, she was in "The Long Game," I know it, I know it. And I pushed pause and went to check and I was right. I may be done with it, but I know my Rusty Who! :)

Yeah, I read that you didn't like it. I really love it, but that's sort of my thing, futuristic sci-fi pioneering sort of stuff (only second to space opera). I eat up books like that. I admit the premiere was a little uneven, but I think it gets better and better as it goes.

If I didn't have so much other TV I was watching, and didn't expect it to get canceled after this one season, I might give it another shot, but yeah, it just didn't work for me. I'm glad you love it. It's always so nice when new shows premiere and they are awesome!

I love it when my fandoms collide. I don't watch Terra Nova, but when I see actors from shows I love in other shows I love? I'm beyond happy. (Mark Sheppherd's Canton was the saving grace of 6.01/02 for me in DW.)

OMG - Thank you! My DH decided to start watching that just last night so we caught up with it on Hulu. The whole time I was going, "Who is that women!?!" LOL
