Can it be Tuesday now, please?  Please, please, please, please, please?

I am alternating between the topical the doctor gave me and Calydryl clear, but it still itches enough to drive me right up the wall.  I want this tube out now!  Gah.  Plus, you know, when hair grows back after being shaved off, it itches like hell, so there's that, too.

Also, did I mention I got a yeast infection from all the antibiotics?  That at least is clearing up with a healthy dose of Diflucan and cream, but the last thing I needed was more itching!

I just want this tube out so my abdomen can heal and there will be a better chance the infection will go away.  Oh, and I read up on how they take it out.  Not happy.  No lidocaine or anything.  They just pull it through the partially healed skin.  Lovely.  So I am looking forward to and dreading the removal at the same time.



Someone make the itching stop.  Or at least direct me to good fic so that I can distract myself.  I will even take Doctor/Rose/Jack if it's not graphic, or I can squint around the graphicness.  Anyone got anything good in the pipeline?  I'm afraid I haven't been paying attention to fic posts for the most part for several days.

I did get a new library book, Ice Cold by Tess Gerritsen.  It is the second to last book in the Rizzoli and Isles series.  I believe I am 22 in line for the audio book of the last one and 125 for the actual book.  We'll see which one comes first.

The vices is a great one! Also my current fav just posed an update of better. It's a short fic so far but I LOVE the slow Rose and 10.5 relationship stuff. I feel like it's what would have really happend. I believe they are all in time and chips but if not and you want to read I can send links. I'm on my phone right now or I would have already.

Here is an interesting fic rec. This is the author's first piece of Fanfic, though you would never know it. It isn't hot by any stretch, but it is very well written and a whole lot of fun. It is over on Teaspoon.

I am sorry. I wish I could help. I got an infection where I tore and still am getting over it so I feel your pain. As for fic I am finally reading your Leap of Faith now during late night/early morning feedings when watching TV or a movie isn't the best. sorry I can't help you there but I am sending good thoughts your way.

I would tell you the whole icky story of my hysterectomy but I haven't had nearly enough to drink (best friend's birthday today and mine is tomorrow so we enjoyed mimosas all afternoon!) to share all that.

I will, however, tell you this.Take three extra strength Advil about an hour before the tube-y thing. It won't totally eradicate the pain but it will help.

As for the itch, diaper rash cream is helpful. Not perfect, but helpful...
