Mostly I am just posting pictures to see if LJ is capable of posting pictures, and to give myself something to do while I wait for Torchwood, but this was my dinner tonight. Okay, and LJ is still wibbling because it put all my photos in the opposite order of how I arranged them and also the text was supposed to be on top. Good to know. Anyway, the blueberries and blackberries are from the backyard and the pizza (before and after cooking photos) was made from scratch and fully loaded. I only ate one slice. I have very little appetite anymore and have lost 15 pounds since surgery. Hmm...I wonder if LJ can do an LJ-cut?

Date: 2011-07-30 10:29 pm (UTC)1 Cup lukewarm water
1 TBSP oil
1 tsp salt
2 and 3/4 cups flour
I put the yeast and warm water in the bottom of my bread machine pan and wait five minutes for the yeast to bubble then add the oil, salt and flour and set it on the dough function, but of course it can be kneaded by hand for 10 minutes. Let rise 1 1/2 hours. I make a big sixteen inch crust with mine (but you can make two smaller pizzas). Press out dough on pizza pan (the pans with little holes in it work best. Top with half can of tomato sauce and herbs (basil, oregano, thyme, and marjoram, I just sprinkle them on to taste). Add mozzarella cheese, then toppings of your choice (I had pepperoni, sausage, diced ham, onions, and tomatoes on this one) then a bit of cheddar cheese (I used both regular mild orange cheddar and white extra sharp goat cheese cheddar) for a little extra flavor kick. Bake at 425 for 22 to 25 minutes. Smaller pizzas take less time. If we do little personal sized ones it takes 10 minutes. Medium sized ones about 15.
