Yeah, so...

My kids are safely away at camp, my DH is currently on an airplane flying to Anchorage and I'm alone until Saturday with only my laptop and my own universes for company.  So, hopefully I'll be able to get over the fact that Rusty broke my muse.  Well, broke her heart anyway.  I've got full chapter outlines for the next few of HM and YW? and I think I've figured out what to do with Of the Vortex Born.   And argh, I spelled a cut link word wrong and don't know how to correct it. *grumble*

Ever write yourself into a corner and the just stay there for several months?  That would be me.  I've decided the TARDIS was faking her injuries to make sure the Doctor didn't screw things up with Rose, but was forced to stay on the moon and not run away from her if things didn't go perfectly with their reunion and it won't really take two weeks of repairs to fix her.  That alone should get me out of the corner.  Luke's a smart kid and he sort of knows how to fly the TARDIS and between Jamie, Mairi, and Landon, the four of them should be able to figure out how to rescue Rose and the Doctor from the Moon Bubble that was launched into space with a limited oxygen supply.

My only other option felt like it would have to be allowing Jamie to go all Storm Wolf again, but I did not want her to regenerate and she would have done if I let her.  She was certainly ready to, but she's been through too much trauma and Luke would have lost it.  Actually, he's going to lose it when she suggests it again before they figure out the TARDIS is faking it.  Of course he'll lose it in that understated Luke Smith way, but yeah, he'll be rather upset with her.

Meanwhile, Rose and the Doctor, with nothing else to do and no way of saving themselves will make love.  So, maybe I can actually get that story completed this week.  Though I still have to figure out what to do with the villains.  I need their motivation and right now I don't know what it is, though I think somehow the purple vacuum birds the humans have named minus have something to do with it.  That's still a bit of a bang my head against the wall bit of the story.  Anyone got some spare villian motivation floating around?

well there is always psychic food
or desire for slaves
or their just sadistic and get their jollies off abusing others
or hosts for their young
or profit margin

I'll let you know if I can think of other classics ;)

Well, the Teroc'manu are the psychic food of the Monoc'teru and are trying to use the telepathic humans as such, too in Hunger Moon so that'd be repeating myself. Not sure I could make any of those others work except perhaps the host for their young. That just might be doable. I'll have to think on that one. Thanks.

Ehhh, I'm not much use in the spare villain motivation, sorry! But I should be able to tell you how to fix your cut text, lol! ;) You ought to be able to do it by clicking the edit link you should be able to see at the top of this entry (or by finding it through the Manage Entries link at the top of the page). It should give you the entry back how it looked when you first were entering it and you should be able to correct the wording in your cut, then just click save entry down at the bottom. ;)

*fingers crossed that every style doesn't have different controls in different places or something like that* ;) Also, I use the HTML instead of Rich Text editor so that might also make a difference in how that works. But that's how it works for me, so hopefully it'll work like that for you as well! ;) ♥!

I use rich text and I can't get it to work. Oh, well, it's not that big a deal, just a typo. Thanks for trying. *smiles*

You know, I just want you to know how much I look forward to every story you write. Even if it's just a snippet. Your stories constantly put a smile on my face and give me something to look forward to.

I'm in the middle of a serious bad patch at work. Those moments when I hit your LJ and find a new story part really help my day. This isn't a "write more dammit" response. It's a thank you for those little moments where you help me find a little bit of escape. :)

Oh, thank you. That's a wonderful thing to hear. I'm sorry you're having a tough time at work right now and hope it gets better soon!

Oh, good, you're back. I was getting worried that JE broke you too badly. *hugs*

I have multiple plot bunnies that are driving me bonkers. You are MORE than welcome to borrow a few, if you'd like. They're sort of on the angsty side, though......

It broke my muse, but I found some duct tape and super glue and she seems to be fluttering around my head now, just can't fly quite straight. *sighs* Bad Rusty!

Angsty plot bunnies? They are of the evil at the moment. But I may take you up on it later. Right now, I be in search mostly of fluff and one of murderous intent.

Hmm. I used to have a murderous bunny, but I haven't used it in a while. I'll see if I can't track it down and send it in your direction - I don't plan on killing anyone terribly soon, so I won't need it for a while.
