Katie, We Love You

I am so worried about honorh.  I have been babysitting her LJ and her Facebook all day.  I really hope she's okay and it's only the fact that communications are probably down after the tsunami and earthquake that is preventing her from checking in with family and friends.  It amazes me how someone I have never met in real life has been such a special presence in my life these last few years.

Please join me in praying for her safety.

Yes she was my first thought when I heard about this. She is the only person of my aquaintance that I know live over there. Like you I've never met her but I'm still very concerned. I pray she is okay.

I've been haunting her LJ, hoping for word also. I first thought of her and began looking up her area online (after our own tiny part of the tsunami was past). But everything I've seen today doesn't bring any peace of mind. :(

There is no real news yet, but the positive development is that roxyk630, who is in Japan, has contact numbers for Katie and is trying to call her - though phone lines are mostly down.

I'll keep updating that post on my LJ as I hear anything, even if it's just updates on 'no contact'.
