Is it Just me?

...or have the colds this cold season been virtually impossible to get rid of?  I feel like I've had a rolling cold since October and every time I start to feel better again a couple days later I am just smacked upside the head with it again.  It's like having a throat full of phlegm has become my natural state of being.  Not to mention the stuffed head and consstantly draining (but never being drained) sinuses.

I'd think it was just me, but my kids have been going through the same thing all winter.  And T almost never even gets sick.  This is just exhausting.  I want to move to a tropical island somewhere and just bake myself in the sun until the cold is dead.

On the bright side my knee is doing really well this week.

No, it's not just you!

I've been whining over at Dev's LJ that I've had a cold since early December and am now on antibiotics to fight off a really horrible attack of bronchitis. I've been caught in this same revolving pattern of sickness and I can't remember ever having four colds in a row before! I've cancelled everything for tomorrow as well and this would be fine if I even felt like being productive--like writing-- but only vegging in front of tv seems to be what I can handle just now.

So budge up on the couch. I'll give you some of my tissues and we can be miserable together.

I NEVER get sick and yet I've been sick for two weeks now and just can't stop coughing. My husband (on chemo) got bronchitus from my cold.

it's been bad over here this year too. i've had a cough since october and seem to spend most of the time ill. the whole family's like it, it's miserable.

i'll jpoin you on the tropical island i think, but preferably somewhere without too much sun, i seem to have developed persistant migraines as well :(

My mum and dad had a cold a few weeks or so ago, and my mum's developed into bronchitis. She still sounds like she's coughing up a lung every five minutes. I still don't know how I escaped being sick, with everyone else in the house being as such. One of our rats even wound up getting it and almost died from it. o_0

definitely not just you, I was saying earlier to psyfi_geekgirl it seems like almost everyone on our combined f-lists has either had, or currently has, some kind of cold, flu or chest condition, me and her included. Mines not so bad now, but the cough that wont go away is bad enough that I've pulled a muscle as a result.

I really hope we all feel better soon, and the weather gets warmer too, this winter has been a nightmare for so many of us.
