Do you ever get a craving for something you haven't eaten in years and aren't even sure they still make?  And probably wouldn't be as good as you remember even if you did manage to get your hands on it?  For some reason tonight I am dying for a Hostess Suzy Q.  Frozen.  I used to eat them like that in high school and they were just so good.  But I haven't even seen them on the store shelves around here for about ten years.

Just googled it and apparently they do still exist and we happen to have a Wonder Bread/Hostess Bakery outlet in town.  Hmm...maybe I'll have to send Chris there tomorrow to see.  I'm sure I'm just craving sugar because I'm so sick.  Going to Seattle set me back at least a week.  I don't care what kind of weepy eyes my family gives me in future.  I'm not doing anything like that again when I feel this bad.

I think the least he can do is go get you the treats. You deserve it.

I hope you feel better soon. (((HUGS)))

Yeah I have had those cravings before,my desire is eating hotdogs with mayo, ketchup, cheese I use to eat them when I was a teen, but I don't think my body could adapt to that type of eating again. I am sorry you are not feeling better I was hoping you were on the mend. Rest/relax and enjoy your suzy Q's

The one that annoys me is where they stop manufacturing something that you've been buying for years and years! I know it's a sign of encroaching old age and general grumpiness but damn it! If I've been buying it for 20 years then they are obliged (damn it!) to keep making it!! I don't care if their surveys decide that no-one else is buying it; I am. :-)

I'll probably go mad if they ever stop making Kinder chocolate. Not that I eat it constantly (at least that's what I'm telling myself) but it's definitely one of the best things to treat myself with a bar (or two or three... ;)) when I'm frustrated and/or annoyed.

I hope you feel better soon *hugs*

funny you should mention things you haven;t eaten in ages.....I had something of an addiction to a corn snack in my younger days called Monster Munch, particularly the pickled onion flavour ones.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monster_Munch

As I got older, they changed the recipe, and reduced the size of them etc, as they tend to do with such things and I stopped eating them, and frankly forgot about them.

A couple of weeks ago we were out with friends for a drink when I spotted the snack section behind the bar and discovered they've relaunched my favourites. There they sat, now called Mega Monster Munch, in retro packs and back to big chunky pieces, and they still do pickled onion! Needless to say I've had several bags in the last couple of weeks, lol

I don't know whether you ever got them over there or not, but Lolly Gobble Bliss Bombs were a favourite of both myself and mr when we were kids. I've not seen them for years and years.

Hope you are feeling betterer sweetie, and this is why I live 3000km away from my famiily! Can't just go and see them any time... :)
